Romanesco

Paella (Dinner)
Same recipe from the Spanish table
Pretty great! Did 6 thighs, 6 sausages so it was a bit oily. Skipped the mussels etc, still did shrimp though. Pretty great.
I realized that the fancy chicken stock there was $9 (after I got it home). For that much I could buy a chicken and make my own.
I've cooked this just once before

Bell pepper, yellow onions and garlic for the veggies under the sausage. Still worked!
Oatmeal (Breakfast)
I've cooked this 21 times before
Sauteed Kale
My son picked this one, helped me make it, and when it was done announced that he didn't like it and wouldn't eat it. Rad.
Added it to the pan a little wet, with a little extra water, and put a lid on for ~3-4 minutes to steam it before sauteeing until starting to crisp.

Chicken Rice Lemon Soup
My daughter had the stomach flu, so I made this so she could eat something more mild.
I froze a bit, and the rest lasted us a while, alternating with the baked risotto.
Sauteed Mushrooms
Baked Risotto (Dinner)
From MV Pasta Co
February 14
Roasted Brocolli
February 15
cashew chicken (Dinner)
This turned out great - I let the sauce reduce more than normal, or maybe it was a different brand of coconut milk (Native Forest?) but it all of a sudden turned a darker brown and got a bunch of richness.
Dry Sauteed Green Beans
A thought occurred to me - what about tossing the oil and salt in a bowl instead of the pan? That might help with the oil scorching into the pan, while still getting some salt on there.
February 16
Panko Fried Chicken with Lemon (Dinner)

Hummus (Kid's Lunch)
A little salty - I was drinking a canned Poloma while I was making it, and that was super sweet, maybe that threw my taste off? I think it must have bene closer to 3 teaspoons. Still OK though.
Hot dogs (Dinner)
With Sliced Cucumber
yesterday
Fajitas (Dinner)
Mixed these up a day ahead of time for camping, they turned out great
