Well, the planters only lasted a few years before we wanted to do something bigger with the space.

The boxes had held up really well. It was interesting taking a peek inside at how the bamboo had been growing - really, really slowly up top, but with a lot of roots below the surface.

The varnish had held up well. I sold the boxes and the bamboo separately on craigslist.
